My Story
I was born in Texas and am the second child of 3 sisters. I have a Type-A personality and am very driven. Throughout my life, I have been involved in swimming and music. I started taking piano lessons when I was four years old and then learned how to play the cello when I started middle school. I love playing the cello and continued throughout college, playing in various orchestras, small ensembles, a cello choir, and a wedding ensemble. Also, from elementary school until I graduated high school, I swam on the swim team and learned more about teamwork, determination, and the importance of practice.
I graduated from Belmont University with an MBA and from Texas A&M University with a BBA. I have interned with various music companies and volunteered at events with Grammy U and Belmont Service Corps. I am the former Community Manager of the music and technology blog, Music Think Tank (www.musicthinktank.com). My experience includes writing about music, marketing, technology, social media, managing content, websites and social media pages, editing videos, promoting various organizations, cash handling, email marketing, and budgeting. I enjoy reading and learning more about things that impact the industry, emerging social media, and everything that is going on in the music industry. My goal is to find a marketing position where I can utilize my organizational, creative, and analytical skills to increase profitability and strengthen brand recognition and connection.
